Hi all, I have a bit of a dillema with a pc im building for my brother. Ive bought a new motherboard and processor for him but just need to buy some ram and its finished. His motherbord can support drr400 (pc3200) but my mate is also offering 1536 megs worth of pc2100 for about Â£50 which seems to be a bargain, so what should I do? Go for the 1536meg slow and cheap ram or buy some brand new 1gig ddr 400 ram which is fast but expensive and also isnt as much in terms of the amount of memory. Ive just bouoght him an intel motherbaord for Â£60 and have bought him a 3.2ghz p4 for about Â£150 so saving some money on my mates ram wouldnt be so bad, But do u think that ram is too slow, especially when put with this fast processor.
