Audigy 4 is out for 250, it's basicly a Audigy 2 with some bug fixes.
Audigy 2 cost here in germany now about 40 €, ca. 55$

or you are really cheap and buy a Audigy card(about 10€) and put a Audigy 2 driver on. It does the job.
