Without a doubt, the PS3 will be

A, A Monster in terms of Specs,

And

B, A Very successful Console.

What Sony have done is, get as many Software houses to make games for the PS series as possible, this has maximised the games on the shop shelves. Granted 2/3 games are a pile of poo, but it gives the gamer the choice to buy that poo if they want to

Look at the NGC, this console is a good console, but it has hardly any Developer support, hence less games on shelf and less choice

It seems that Sony will carry on the tradition of quality marking any crap to boost software count, but it seems to draw the gamers in their droves..... and you do get the odd quality title that blows us all away
