I just downloaded the demo, and it wouldnt work. the last part of the console says

Video card or driver doesn't support texture coordinate generation in the fixed-function pipeline.

Video card or driver doesn't support enough texture coordinates for the DirectX 9 code path.
DirectX 9 rendering path will not be available.
Video card or driver doesn't support enough textures for the DirectX 9 code path.
DirectX 9 rendering path will not be available.

Can someone help me out? i downloaded the DirectX 9.0c upgrade, and reinstalled it twice, but it wouldnt work and keeps making that same message.
