Hey now,
I have always ignored celeron & non-desktop processors, but am looking to get my kid into a laptop with at least better performance than his current 2 ghz athlon (32 bit). Price, heat, and battery life point to the pentium m series, but I have also been advised that the m series 2 ghz chip will outperform a p4 up to 3.4 ghz for gaming. Is that right?

As a follow up, will geforce 6600 graphics outperform radeon 9800 pro?
