I have a Plasma television which supports component input, vga, scart and even the now dead composite input. we all know that scart and composite not as good as component or vga so forget about those two. I have my pc plugged into my TV via a VGA so that leaves component for one more item. Im thinking of leaving my component input for an XBOX360 when the price eventually falls and i pick one up (prob when ps3 hits the shelves) The signal from my pc to my TV is spot on when i set my screen resolution to 1024x768 and under but anything over, it flickers quite badly. What resolution is the XBOX360 going to be set at? and is HD far better than component? if so how much better? these are the sort of questions ive been asking many people i know and i keep getting the same response-----------you should have got a tv with HD input blah blah blah. I have had a DVD player set up via component to my tv once(my mate kindly let me borrow it for a few days just to test it out) and i can honestly say the picture quality was superb, how much better can HD be? seriously. The thing is my tv was only purchased not more than six months ago and already people are saying its out of date. B*llocks! is what i say How about you?
