Such problems are usually when:
- You have old/corrupted graphic drivers (but i think not in this case)
- Background program dont like your game (shut off all background programs)
- You have problems with video codecs (try update Windows Media Player, install QuickTime, install FDDShow)

PS. Are there no more educational games than GTA:SA? :P
