Maybe a 6600GT or 9800 pro but deffo not worth upgrading from a 6800GT. Even if it was the same price as the PCI-E version I'd rather save the extra and go for the full PCI-E upgrade.

Yeah, I guess the 512MB of RAM comes into play where the pricing is concerned. Plus there's still a lot of peeps on AGP who are reluctent to overhaul a perfectly good system. Not everyone has the know how/confidence in building their own PC, tis much easier to plug in another AGP card. I guess these are the customers Gainward are targeting/taking advantage of
