Ever wanna play a Tony Hawk game on a motor bike and have some blood, broken bones, then cross it with FlatOut? Well, if so,

this game may be for you! Crusty Demons for the Xbox combines Tony Hawk and FlatOut physics into almost a great game.

Lets get by the stuff that is damn near standard for the Xbox:

Graphics:
Standard Xbox. Not much is going to impress ya at this point in the Xboxs life!

Sound:
As always, it depends on your setup. If ya have a 5.1 surround sound, then, it will sound like your at a bigfoot rally. If

you have a black and white tv that only craps out mono, then it is going to suck.

I am going to get MP out of the way as well as it is not worth its own section This game is meant to be played SP.

Period. There are mp modes but, since they are not the sp story mode maps, they suck!

We alllll know gameplay is the main draw for a game (at least it should be). Crusty Demons is a very entertaining game. As

I meationed before, cross Tony with FlatOut and you basically get CD! Like TH, you start in a training area where you go

learn how to play basically. This constitutes things like wheelies to bailing off your bike to break some bones! The basic

premis of the game is racing the devil to get your soul back. This is a good place to tell ya that this game is NOT meant

for the 18 and under crowd!

After your forte in the beginning realm, you will move on to the first map of the game. Just like the tony games, you have

to go to people around the area to get missions. These range from picking up hookers (not called that in the game but, you

will get the hint) to three sets of points. Get 5k for me then 10k for my buddy and then 15k for the bitch we call freind

You should already see this will be a short review. Not because it is a bad game, tis because it mimics so much of the Tony

games, I don't really need to go into detail

The one thing that it has that Tony does not (this is where the Flatout part comes in) is the abillity to leave your bike at

the pust of a black button (which is appropriate, considering you are riding for your soul!) There are, lets call them

quests, that can be done on each map that calls for you to bail from your bike to hit a target. These are scattered about

the map and make the player go places he may not go otherwise. This reallly makes the game fun. I played the mp part one

time. The rest of my mp experience was taking turns seeing who could cause the most bodily harm. This has gotta be the most

fun part of the game! I swear, finding a place that you haven't launched your self into a building or car is just sweet.

The maps are really not that big and the mp sucks ass but still, the game is fun. I have played it for days now and it still

entertains me.

Jumping off the bike at any given time is a real plus here. You need to do it sometimes. Other times, hell, tis just for

fun! When you do bail from the bike, and believe me, you will, it gives you two thigamajigs when you bail. One for hight,

one for length. These get you points you can so nothing with aside from brag. It does keep track of your distance and height

on each map, dont see the point though.

It does have freeride mode and another that is devilishly close to classic on Tony games where it gives you two mins to do

certain things. The problem stands, it is not a tony game and should not copy it so blatenly. They really did have a good

game here if, the levels were bigger, more bones could be broken, and mp didnt suck!

Pros:

Damn near identical to Tony Hawk games, so tis easy for anyone to pick up
Anytime you can launch yourself off a bike and a building is good by me!
Broken bones and blood loss bonus is a major plus
Some of the maps have massive potential for launching your body and killing it!

Cons:

Mp maps suck! If you are going to immitate Tony, at least give us the levels you play thru! sheesh
Not a lot in terms of innovation. Mixin two games together and adding breaking bones is good but, not quite good enough
Mp sucks! I know I mentioned that already but it does! Seriously! Let us have the option of playing horse in Amsterdam!

It has been brought to my attention that the review on GS (I am sure you smart ppl can finger that one out) said the controls

were clunky or some shit. Now, I have been playing games for 25 years and there is only a handfull of games that I can

recall that controlls were an issue. My six year old played this game without help from me! If he can, you can. Nuff said.

Overall, I give it a 7

Not cause it sucks, just cause they should have made the levels more suited to a motorbike not a skate board. Not to mention

the damn mp! I still can't get over that! Well, thats enough from me today
