well the amd/ati thingy had been "on the books" for a while...
as to the intel and nvidia, i think they announced (or announcing)
a partnership to attempt to rival this...
but a takeover outright, was shot down because of the 'differences'
in the companies.... not forgeting they just expanded into macs etc...
just as long as they don't only produce all-on-board pcs, but if ati
is making the imbedded v/c?? well time will tell.
