Hey guys,

I`m looking for advice on patching BF2.

Whenever i try to install a FULL VERSION of a patch [eg. 1.2 or 1.3] i end up getting an error message: "PATCH FAILED".

I`ve tried to do this umpteen times and have noticed that it usually happens when it gets to about 11% of a file called bf2\Objects_client.zip. Then the patching ends with the failure. This is about 8% into the patching overall.

I CAN play the game in SP and even patch from 1.01 up to 1.12 but whenever i try to run the game after the patching failure i just get a crash to desktop or another error message concerning shaders\lightning.

I`ve updated my g-Card drivers and i have 40GB of HD spare, so i know it can`t be that.

Any ideas?
