Seconded. Obluivion, on the other hand, I found much better. Its combat didn't totally suck. And it was too much fun to play with the Havoc physics (I love it when my Orc slams a skeleton 20 feet into the air with a warhammer hit).

Not a big Sims fan, either, and I refuse to pay $15 a month for a VIDEOGAME! (MMO's)

I'm gonna add Guild Wars to the list. Yeah, it's free, but it has no depth. If you want to succeed in it, you are basically forced to fall into one of the specified super-builds. Some classes (like my Necro) are totally rejected and ignored except in one strategy. Combat doesn't require complex thought or reactionary casting or anything like that, it just requires using the same chain of spells over and over again. The PvE makes it take way too long to get anywhere and I don't like the huge focus on group combat...sometimes, I don't want to play with idiots all day. I can't find many redeeming factors other than the lack of a monthly fee...the only reason I played it for more than an hour is because my brother and his friend are fanatical about it (the latter is, I think, head of a top-100 guild and has like 4000 hours on his character) and I figured I owed it to them to try it. But every time I was bored. To death.

And, for the record, I'm a CS-hater. I don't suck at it anymore, but it's still not any fun.
