If you mean gaming about 3 years ago, then yes. I glanced at some reviews about them and they pretty much suck. I could also sugarcoat those words and say they don't fully live up to today's standards.

They are however just about as good as the 7300 series of Nvidia which Agp version is just as bad for playing new games at decent framerates as the 700 series of Ati. Just get an 800 of ati and oc those to a 850. They are reallly cheap these days.
