Ok. So curiousity got the better of me and I ignored my "ignore Gazz's post" philosophy.

And yes Hitman I wouldn't miss this party if the world was about to end in five minutes.

I think the elimination of the DRM (Digital Rights Management) is fine. I would encourage all of you to follow this course of action. Distributing software for free is a great and humbling thing.

I would encourage all of you to quit your jobs and school and make free software for a living. In all sincerity, the world does need more free stuff. So I say, go ahead and make it a full time payless job.

By the way, it is anti-DRM not anti-copy protection. Although you could extrapolate that to copy protection, it is not actually specifically anti-CP. Instead I believe they are dealing with the legal right to use software freely.


Just out of curiousity, how many of you are going to start working for free from now on? Let me know so I can download your stuff (legally).
