LoneStrider,
A tech guru in my neck of the woods said unto me that one might be able to spoof the program by pointing all its ad server links to some kind of neutral 'dummy' server of your own making. The 'dummy' would of course contain no ads to transmit, simply pinging a response back to your machine to make it stop requesting. If you`ve found that information...
I`m not a tech man so I can`t offer anything more than that generality. Does it make any sense?

Umh I think that would actually require modifying the bf2142.exe and as we all know bf series use bunkbuster and bunkbuster registers changes made to game files. But yeah it would work for sure wouldn’t recommend it tho.
By the way I think my copy of the game arrives tomorrow so I’m going to scan what modifications it in fact does to the system. Or if the game exe opens any excess ips/ports that aren’t needed for running the game Ill post them here.
