I loved my MegaDrive with the headphone socket. I had it connected out through my stereo and the Streets of Rage games chip music sounded awesome through it. For some reason Sega decided to remove that from the MegaDrive2. God knows why, its not as if it cost a lot of money.

Another couple of good games on the 32x. RiStar, which had absolutely amazing animation and gameplay. It was supposed to be their successor to Sonic, but it all happened a bit too late. By that time the Saturn had failed and the Playstation had Wipeout and the market had moved up a few gears.

I still play them, buy through emulation, but many are far superior games in terms of actual gameplay then many of my AAA PC titles. Its just odd that I spend loads of money buying more powerful upgrades and stuff for my PC, but I am always likely to play at least 2 or 3 games a week on an emulator.

At the moment I have 5000 MegaDrive ROMs on my PC, but only Half-Life2 and GuildWars for the PC!
