Slay wouldn't one of those UPS/powerconditioners have been less expensive? My brother-in-law had one at one time and said that it was to keep the power levels steady as well as to prevent loss of data in a power outage. He said his had enough reserve power for about 2 hours in an outage. Seems that and a good strong supply would have been cheaper, but that is me. Then again I don't have unlimited funds for stuff like that. God knows I wish I had $3000.00 I could blow on a rig like that!
