This really isnt a piss and moan although it might turn into one. This just strikes me as odd. A MAN is suing the state of California because it is a pain in the ass for him to change his last name to hers instead of vice versa. Is it just me, or is this a stupid lawsuit? It seems to me that the woman is clearly in charge and is telling him what to do. Why sue when you can just fill out the damn paperwork and be done with it? It makes no sense to me. Suing will just drag this out wayy longer than filling out the paperwork would have.

I understand that it might be the principle of the thing but, still! I personally still think marriage is between a man and a woman and that the woman should take the last name of the man. This is the way it has worked for a very long time. I don't like the hyphenated last names or men taking the last names of a woman. Shit, if you do that you might as well be the woman!

I do understand that times change and I have no problem with that. Why sue though? To make your gayness more apparent to the rest of the world? I don't understand the thinking here. Just take the damn time to fill out the extra paperwork so no other man is compelled to be as big of a pussy! Sheesh! How hard is this?
