Well, I completely disagree. It's nice to see some people with a passion for the latest hardware, but we must accept the fact that some people are on a lower budget. A difference of 80-90 euro's between the basic x2/core2duo is huge and means people with a budget will have to compromize on the quality of the rest of their setup, for example their hd, psu mem, mobo (even more impotant then CPU) or whatever.
Just suggesting the biggest processor is a way too narrowminded vision in the pcworld. The overall performance of a pc is based on the sum of it's contents and not on just a core2duo.
Any link supporting your claim GM? Not that it suddendly makes the 360 faster as it still is the slower of the 2 but I'm intriged.
