Anyone running an AMD Dual Core processor with the Dual Core Optimizer installed will probably find that after you run the self extracting *exe it will lead you to uninstall your optimizer & that's about it.

Well I read the readme & it has no mention about this problem... NICE ONE EA :Oo: ... you for some reason (not really a reason but more of a bug) have to uninstall the DCO, then have to reboot, then you run the self extracting *exe AGAIN only to find it wants to install the optimizer that you just uninstalled :bucky!: & then you have to reboot AGAIN... you will keep going round in this vicious circle if you don't install it the way that I mention below:arcade:

Here's how I managed to fix this bug, extract the self extracting *exe with WinRAR to a folder of your choice & then click on the cncdemo.msi file & you will finally be able to install the demo.

One would of thought that EA must have tested the demo on AMD Dual Core systems before releasing it... but sadly they would find they were mistaken.

Seeing as that took me a good half an hour to figure out a way around that silly problem - I have not time to play the demo (thunderstorm has rolled in & i'm going to have to wait until it has passed)
