I fully agree that Amd/ati have slacked behind because of the design issues that surrounded the initial launch half a year ago. I don't give a crap whether Ati or Nvidia wins, ati even produces the cards for the threeshitty so they can suck my balls for all I care, I just have serious issues with people so short-sighted they aren't giving another card a fair chance and still claiming they are some hardware guru when in fact they intentionally miss at least 50% of the videocard market because of biased opinions. That's just plain wrong.

Driver problems are 25% real and 75% people who think it's the videocard-driver while in fact it's another program already pre installed that's conflicting with a driver. Most people don't have issues with their drivers, it's just a part that wants to max out their performance by using modded software and ocÃ*ng a lot, and when that fails blame the driver instead of themselves and then there's 25% that have real issues and that just plain sucks. I never encountered any big issues with Catalyst or Forceware myself, a bsod once with some modded forceware and that about sums it up.

I never implied you said that at all! It was just a statement. I also stated that the r600 offers excellent price/performance and have also said that elsewhere in this thread and indeed in numerous other posts!
