Ive been played a number of F2P MMORPGs and I’ll review the one of them, Cronous.
This game first appeared in 2002, Korea, and Global version appeared in 2007.
Therefore, it’s graphic is some simple compared to current mmorpgs.(not bad, but resolution is only 800x600 so you could know how it is. However, if your computer is some old one, then it’ll be positive thing to you
Cronous supports Zoom In/Out funtion and camera rotation, like ‘Mu’(I guess), the other mmorpg.
In official site, they say it has various quest to user, but most of them are not important, meaningless. It’s OK doing quest or not.(Of course, it’s better to do it than just kill the mobs.
In game play, it’s very alike to D2(Diablo2). I loved D2 very much, so cronous was very welcome.(for example, newbie’s mob, pigmi is similar to D2’s ‘Fallen’, and most feelings recall D2 to me. But it’s not a bad second to D2. It has it’s specific things a lot.
Control is very simple and comfortable because of it’s quarter view system.
Sound is not bad. Each map has its own background music and this is colorful.
