Heeeeey Gaz and others,

Well, I am having Linux since a short time, namely Ubuntu 7.04. No trouble with drivers in my case (though I have heard the "stories").

By the way, for gaming on Linux you need software that can "help" the OS handling that typical Windows software. Say, a sort of emulator. When I have mastered Ubuntu enough, I will try to use "Cedega" (that's such a program) for that. There is a good chance that some games might even run better than on Windows XP, because Linux needs only about the half of the RAM that XP is needing. And that necessary amount of memory is about a quarter(!) of what Vista needs.

By the way, Slaymate, I am afraid that for Linux you need an alternative CAD program. There is a good chance that som open-source people made a good alternative. Or why not simply make a dual-boot? Then you can choose between Windows and Linux when starting your pc (I have got a dual-boot as well).

Cheerz,

DutchEmperor Richard Rahl

P.S.: Maybe I will start posting about Linux on this forum in future
