According to
this article there isn't a dvd drive in the new macbook. Apparently it looks better to have a thin notebook with a external dvd player next to it. This has been done because a dvd player uses too much energy, which makes sense and that's about all that makes sense too me. The rest of this ridiculous apllish (get it? new word) move makes no bloody sense to me at all.
