I don't get it, how is not taking full advantage of everything a pc has too offer a good thing? From that point of view we might as well not get a better cooler, a few more degrees in temperature isn't that bad right? Overclocking seems futile too then, why bother maximizing? With more software taking advantage of quadcore we don't have power to spare but performance to gain in my opinion.

*Not intended as a flame but as a real question, I just don't see why settling for less is a good thing.
