That's hugely important developer number 2 who left in a single week. First they lose the developer of project gotham racing which have gone to Activision and now they lose their biggest fish. They seem to be losing their developers faster these days then their consoles overheat

The rats are leaving the sinking ship.

The reason they left was because of some royalty issues,they have been unclear about the exact cause of why the royalties weren't that good. 300 million of course is a figure that says nothing. You need to subtract manufacturing, packaging, shipping, retail taxes, retailer margins, how many of those halos included consoles since they made a loss on those packages and most importantly, their massive 100 million dollar marketing blitz. I doubt that the 300 million figure actually means they have a lot of money in the end. They will make some for sure, but never enough and they already disappointed their shareholders by not reaching 200 million in the first weekend.

MS will still hold the name Halo and if Bungie decides to make another Halo based game it will be 360 exclusive.
