And you don't need the gigabit network adapter. The mobo you have listed, as well
as the mobo I listed both come with Gigabit built-in.
The E6700 cpu is a good cpu but I think you'll be better off getting a Q6600
instead, same basic price.

guys your input is greatly appreciated, i think i'll go with the 8800 and boost the ram and thats as far as me pockets can reachfor the mo.
