1) I should make the screenshots smaller if I were you, cause now it is easy to lose oversight
2) It looks like changing desktops goes a little different than in my case. I guess you are able to run "desktop effects", unlike my Ubuntu setup. But I guess that it is caused by a better - working driver in your case. For my GeForce 6200SE Turbocache, it appears that there are no better drivers available

. But an advantage is that switching to another desktop is going instantly (instead of waiting for an animation to be completed).
3) OpenOffice.org is also available in Dutch:
OOo NL
BTW, Openoffice.org rules! I use it on my Win '98 machine (though it has insufficient RAM for it), my dual-boot desktop, and on my laptop (don't want to activate a 90-day trial of that lousy Office 2007). And it is true that Ubuntu even runs on a Pentium 3, 128 Mb Ram system (a HDD of 5 Gb is more than enough)
EDIT: Even better then Firefox (in most cases) is Opera 9
(Clickylinky!). It is faster, easier to configure and comes without all that nasty toolbars IE and Firefox often are equipped with (of wich some cannot be removed, even if you don't use them and are merely in your way).
