PSN only went down for a few hours and is already working great again. Nothing compared to the downtime of live in December/January 2007/8 and when Halo got released. But all live members got a free game nobody wanted in the first place and more ads on live from then on. I know there have been some reports of people with launch 60 gb versions of the PS3 having issues, but they stand in pale contrats to the issues caused by rrod and the dvd drive of the 360.
EDIT: and the issue seems to be platform indifferent:
Rockstar Support: No GTA Freeze Fix in Sight. That's actually too bad since they will now have to focus on both consoles, instead of just one version having the issue. I blame Microsoft code for this.
Side note: can you hear the radio stations and dialogs with the loud fan of the 360?
