Here we are, inside Cayenne's mind, currently invaded by some monster (no idea). We need to get them out, and there's a bit of a puzzle element to it. No crying babies though.

(He wasn't so tough)

When we finally finished up the side quests we headed for Cefca's castle. I forgot to stock up on potions and tents (used at sparkling save points and regenerates hp/mp for the entire party), but in the end I had just enough. This place has a lot of rooms, a lot of conveyor belts, and a whole lot of monsters. At the beginning you divide up the gang (of 13) into three groups of four. Up until then I had pretty much been playing using maybe five or six characters who had gotten pretty powerful, at the expense of the other guys staying rather weak. Fortunately there's a "dinosaur forest" on an island where I brought some of the weak characters to build up hp, mp, spells, and so on. It took a few hours, but probably only a quarter of the time it would've taken elsewhere. When entering Cefca's tower the lowest character was level 40, at about 30 hours of play time. The highest (Amb of course) was 62, and ended up being the main damage dealer. Still, thanks to certain items the magic users could deal pretty solid damage as well.

The tower looks a lot like the Majitek factory from a while ago. Here the groups had to work together to open the middle door. The middle party would eventually go upstairs and push down the 4t weight so the door would stay open and the other groups could get in.

The eight dragons drop fairly decent weapons and espers. The last one dropped an esper called Jihad of all things. Questionable fansub translation ahoy!

The first,

second,

and third of the statues. Medium difficulty.
