Finally, Final Fantasy final boss time.

I'll admit he looks tougher up close.

It's really three plus one part, but I forgot to get a pic of the second part.

Be gone!

Thoughts about the game
From what I've gathered, when you ask Final Fantasy veterans what their favorite is in many cases they'll reply with FF6. Those who started with FF7 usually choose that one as their favorite, and I guess I'll see why in a few weeks. As far as graphics, audio and gameplay polish I'll agree that this is the best one so far. It doesn't innovate TOO much in terms of gameplay, but from the very beginning you can tell a whole lot of work and care went into this game. The storyline is really solid during the "world of balance" part, but in my opinion the timing isn't always ideal during the second "world of ruin" part. This was also why I didn't take that many screenshots. You're just travelling to and fro, doing relatively small tasks.

In my opinion FF5 had a better build up to the final boss. It could be because I had leveled up more in this game, and didn't have that hard a time. There weren't any "holy shit it just wiped out my entire party in one attack"-moments, though it did use a spell that reduced the hp of most party members to one. Can't out-level that one. Still, it's a decent battle and the ending is nice and long (though a little boring).

If you're thinking about playing the game I'd recommend checking out
