Edwin from Los Angeles called asking how to hide his IP address while he's online.

During normal surfing your IP address is visible to every website you visit. Nearly all websites log your IP address, too. The only way to hide this information is to use an anonymizing proxy such as Anonymizer (http://www.anonymizer.com). There's a free version for occasional use, but it's best to pay the $30 per year if you want to use it all the time. The paid service is much faster.
