jus read the splinter cell ps2 review and, although it was reasonably well written and i agree mainly with the final score there's a couple of niggles i have with it:
1) 'This is so far the only game available that relies on hiding in shadows, sneaking past guards, infiltrating outposts'
i may be mistaken but wasn't a game released a while before splinter cell called thief? and couldn't you do just this in that game?
2) 'Voices are done by real people'
this made me laugh! voices? by real people? NEVER!!!
3) 'The animations of Sam and the opposition are obviously done by people'
well i never! and there i was thinking they were done by space aliens from the planet xenogia! :P
4) 'There is also a machine gun, shaped like the PN90, called the SC-20K. This rifle can shoot regular bullets on auto fire or single shot...'
make up your mind! is it a machine gun, or a rifle?!
and finally...
5) the over-use of the word 'nice'
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET A THESAURUS!
well, that's all the complaining i have to do. other than that the review was quite good.
