haha i'm not offended if I was wrong cause I don't know everything, but here is what i think about it what they've done and another question for you...
Hah but anyways, the shadows move in the same motion ALL the time? Maybe that is 'dynamic' but it doesn't make the game any more interesting or realistic since the light source can't be changed. So how is that an accomplishment, In other words, all they did was make a light source go the same no matter what, so that doesn't take much processing power and almost makes the game less realistic when you realize the light is constantly swinging in the same repetitive motion, and that it disappears with one shot, then reappears swinging. Maybe they have a good start for their engine, but it needs a lot of work. Its nothing special since I believe splinter cell had dynamic lights in terms of hanging lights being shot, it would swing around and cast appropriate shadows. Also Far Cry's dynamic lights look incredible and realistic.
Also I don't really understand how an animated texture can only be put on one texture at a time in one scene? Can you explain this a little better, because couldn't more than one texture be animated?
