Here's why it's so revolutionary to me.
It's the game that I played almost exclusively during my days of being young.
It was also the first game I saw that was 3D. (Had to throw away that Pong-console.)

Hrm, wolf3d was 3d... Well, kinda... Who cares that it was composed outta crappy sprites and the textures were made outta BMP files.... I still killed an enormous amount of time on it, probably finished it somewhere between five to ten times. So
