Who knows... Consoles do work that way, take Red Faction 2 for example... Maybe one day theyll do something like that for PCs, with the CPU and video cards processing powers already beating Moore's law, and a 17"+ monitor becoming a norm (even though that cheap/broke people - just like me - still use their old, circa 1997, Compaq V50
). But then again, we might just see that sometime.
