Not strictly true though. ID have dropped the NV30 specific paths because of Nvidia's improvements to the standard ARB2 path. However NV40 users will still have an enhanced path as is to be expected. This means ATI Radeon 9x00 and GeforceFX 5x00 owners will be able to benchmark on somekind of equal footing, which is a good thing, but wont mean a lot because the war has moved onto higher spec boards in that battle of late... pity!

I cant wait for this game to come out...please oh please let it be soon...
