when you jump, you have to use your arms to gain height. Terry jumped with his hands out to gain height. The keeper then ran across and jumped
into Terry's arm.
If terry had moved his arm down to block the keeper, then you'd be absolutely right. But if you look at the vids closely, his eyes never look away from the ball, so he is therefore unable to see the keeper coming, and is making absolutely
no attempt to impede him.
