There is most likely extraterrestrial life. Statistically, it would be incredibly unlikely that other forms of life don't exist. Perhaps these other forms of life aren't sentient, or they aren't like anything we could conceive, but I'm willing to wager that there's at least algae or fungus on some other planet in the universe.

Even if we grant the fact that there are sentient beings somewhere in outer space who are more technologically advanced than us, I doubt they would travel across the vast gulfs of space to put probes into our rectums and torture us. I don't believe in alien abductions. If a species is intelligent enough to conquer the problems of faster than light travel, surely they're no longer obsessed with putting things up their own, or other people's asses. Then again, that's just a theory.
