I'm definitely going to get a DS. Gameboy is awesome. Sony PSP looks pretty good and all, but keep in mind that many portable consoles (last count about 10 or something like that) have gone up against the Gameboy and most of them have failed pretty miserably. Say what you will about the Gamecube (GCN =
imo) but Nintendo effectively owns the portable gaming market and although the Playstation's amazing popularity will ensure strong initial sales, it's going to take a quality product to keep people coming back. Plus I can play all my old games on the DS AND I get Mario Kart.
DS Pros: Strong 1st party lineup.
2 screens equals double the fun.
Folding design protects screen.
PSP Pros: Strong 3rd party lineup.
Plays games AND some media.
BIG screen.
