Some of you just seem to not want to take these little bits of info for what they are worth.
I never said dual cards are new-It isn’t likely ppl will be running the 3Dfx voodoo 2 cards that don’t even reach a total of 50mb memory. Haven’t seen dual cards out in awhile and will be seeing dual cards out soon-512mb memory total, that’s D3D and OpenGL. And I wouldn’t use a CAD card for gaming-just using as an example that it wouldn’t be a big leap to design game card…maybe?

My 1st post on in this thread has a link to a thread in another forum that discusses this.
I haven’t played the game and I don’t have 20 different cards to test a game I can not get, so I read and share with you all.
The 6800 seems to run just a tad better than the X800-which only stands to reason seeing that Doom 3 uses OpenGL.

Please try and understand what I’m getting at here I understand just fine about CAD cards and Voodoo 2. I’m not asking for education from you I’m looking to discuss what it will take to run Doom3.

My new 6800 GT goes in my Box tonite.
@Dop3-Fi$H My 9800 is spoken for.
