spiderman 2 demo for pc sucked and so did the game, but ut 2004 demo was ok but full game was excellent! I know that doom 3 and half life 2 will be excellent but im not sure stalker will match up to these games! who knows? :bucky!: :P
If we take PCGamer, I think the reivews will be like this:

Half-Life 2 = 98 % (like Half-Life 1)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. = 95 %
