For me it's not a case of which is best, who has the best engine, or a million other comparisons. They should all be brilliant ( I SO HOPE ) in their own way.

As for reviews; well I have friends who absolutley love certain games that I think are poo. So would my review of said game be of any use to them?
No of course not, reviews are usefull yes, but they aren't to be believed to the point of make a buying decision as they are purely based on a particular persons opinion of them.

Look: Onimusha: Buraiden got like 5/10 in some sites, and not so good in other sites- but did I care? **** no! I bought it, and
LOVED it! I've never fell into a trap in reviews. Reviews is just like a LITTLE TINY opinion for me, nothing more nothing less.
Anyway, I agree with you on the rest. I will buy, PainKiller, Doom 3, S.T.A..L.K.E.R., F.E.A.R, Half-Life 2 (<--- 100 %) and every friggin game. I don't like having burned games in my collection.
When I open my "storage of games" room, I can see every game NON burned! And then I feel comfy:
- Ah... Half-Life ORIGINAL... S.T.A.L.K.E.R.... Oh! Whats this? Doom 95?? Cool!
