you can buy a pair of tommy hilfiger designer jeans for 90 dollars, did it cost them 90 to make? no. so why sell it for so much? several reasons , one being profit which is obivous and is fair game in the buisness world, but the other being the fact that people are willing to pay that much. so they spend no more than 10$ in the most extreme case to make those jeans, sell it for 90, pay off the workers, and make 70 dollars profit. as for your little BMW example, nice move but pulling the luxury alternative into the mess was a stupid thing to do. anyone who can afford a car like that would obviously have the buisness knoledge to get what they payed for and to not be overpriced. my example leaned towards the idiots of our comunity, ya know, the kinda people one step below you. you know them, ill assume you were raised by these kinds of people. the people who buy ford expeditions, the people who counter my inteligent post thinking they are more inteligent.
as of this moment im stuck in a huricane category 4, so far only 70 mile per hour winds but it just hit my town, so ill make this fast.
get acustomed to these two phrases:
DIY (thats do it yourself, incase u didnt know)
and "PARTS AND LABOUR"
you can buy a fancy model ship "handcrafted" for 400 dollars, or you can buy the kit for 40 dollars and DIY. keeping in mind the DIY job is not likely to look as good when your done as the professionaly done one, especialy if you have never built a model before.
Same goes with computers.

also keeping in mind they work perfectly, theyve been tested so that all of the parts work together, all of the software works together, nothing you dont need, everything you do, theyre assembled by professionals, they back great customer suport which is a must have for people like... say... your parents. finalized factory tested award wining products tend to cost a little bit more than DIY, its called logic, its called buisness, its called reality.
