WHAT THE f**k!
This is in reply to all the low IQ dumbass comments posted on "No more doom plz" that was locked just before I could post anything.
Sepht, you deny saying the HL2 mods will be shitt. Check out pg 4, post #10.
Sepht, you say you can't judge a game before it's released. Then what the hell are you doing judging HL2! For f**ks sake!
For everybody that thinks it's funny to say the Valve won't release HL2 for another year (by the way you people are f**king hilarious), you can stop your laugh out loud humor because the official release date it set: Sept. 2 (at least in my area) EB Games has posted the release date and they have never posted a release date unless it was for sure. For all you Spet. 30 releases which all of you are saying...sucks to be you.
Again, for all you hilarious people that thinks it's just oh so funny to brag about bugs and glitches in HL2....I HAVE SOME REAL GREAT f**kING NEWS FOR YOU! ***Patches*** Did you know that there are files out there called patches that are released to fix these bugs and glitches. No more worries guys!
Oh, and who the f**k can argue about bugs anyways...THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AROUND! Every game has them, accept it!
Sepht, you say the the CS Source has little to do with being interactive with the environment. Since when was it ever! It is a mod that uses Valve's engine. It never had any interactive objects. Never needed to. HL2 will be the one with interactive objects, not CS! Think before you post.
You guys remember that rumor that a stolen playable version of HL2 could be accesed. It was true, you just have to know which Newsgroup to look on. I have played HL2 in it's very early stage, looked like Alpha to me. It still looked amazing. And believe it or not, it was scary! Imagine a f**king zombie leaping at you on all fours howling like a goddamn Lost Soul from D3 in tight quarters. Now imagine that sound being amplified 10 times. It was f**king scary.
*For all you HL2 fans, the thing followed me into a pitch dark room and my gun flares made a strobe effect. All I could see was the thing quickly pouncing towards my direction. Very good effect when playing in the dark.*
Enough being nice. Everybody shut the f**k up and judge Hl2 when it comes out. And will somebody please lock this topic to prevent anymore false comment because no opinions were posted here, all are facts. Yes there are glitches that can be fixed by patches, yes there is a release date in Sept., yes Sepht you said those things, yes Nooblet is an idiot who would munch on his own dick if he could reach it.

Checked the phrasing, vomiter, I never said that all HL2 mods will be shit. I know that all the mods won't be great and about 90-95% of them either won't be polished, won't be fun/interesting, won't have enough content, or at least enough interest for their to be servers. A selected few will be good. I am not judging HL2 before its out, ive said on repeated occasions that HL2 can't be judged or compared to doom, because its not out.
However on waht you can judge it on are: final product(which no one has), the screenshots that are supposed to be from nearly the final build, and the track record of the developer.
By those, I say the graphics are nothing evolutionary or revolutionary or anythign that hasn't been done in every new major engine since late 2002, nothing in the videos is for fact, the AI could have been remade to include orders and that could fracture its performance, the openness could have been removed because the testers all got lost, the physics could be removed because it slowed down the game or didn't look right, and for all we know, at this moment valve could have lost all the source code in the entire engine because of some crazy plan by some nutjob.
Valve is due to release HL2 soon(this year)
HL2 is glitchy, patchs do come out but they take time, when I get Hl2 I expect the game to run well, and not crash a single time through when I beat the single player, Bugs happen, I know, Im a programmer myself, they are unavoidable, but the chances of bugs happening can be reduced by good programming and solid testing and very heavy solidication, especially of new code, and that is something very hard to do, especially for the newest games/
I do think before I post, but since Valve has said nothign on HL2 Multiplayer other then CSSource, I must judge that(also the early videos showed high interaction) You must admit valve is putting as much effort into single player as they are into MP, so i expect the mp to be good. (there are also no 3rd party HL2 videos)
HL2 is meant to be an interesting mix of CoD stlye tense action(with objective and teammates) and lone parts with zombies like doom3, Wether its scary or not, I do not know.
HL2 had a release date, Sept30th 2003, Viendi "confirmed" this 1 weeek before the date. Until I see HL2 Gone Gold I will not expect HL2 for anytime in the next month(think about how long it would take to press, package, and ship 1,000,000 copys of the game, at least 1 month, and for a game like this they need at least 1 mil copys ready when they release). the release date is still set at "fall"
EDIT: I really don't like your whole, now I said my opinion, now please lock it so no one can say otherwise because I am right and you are wrong. Why not let people express their opinion?
