A while back I downloaded the 1.4 patch for COD which was supposed to install punkbuster with it. For some reason... it must not have installed the punkbuster right because I can't join any game that is running with punkbuster going (which sucks because thats 90 percent of the servers). I checked my COD folder, there was a pb folder there with some html files with lines and lines of text in them. The punkbuster website has a couple of updates I downloaded, and an auto update program that you can download. I tried all that and still can't join any punkbuster servers. Only thing I can think of doing is uninstalling and reinstalling, but before I do, i wanna see if there might be any solutions...
