ATi's X800XT is neck and neck with the 6800GT in Doom3 now.
and pwns it in all other games.

Anyhow.. on ATi vs Nvidia..

If u have the money.. the best high end card is the X800XT.. all initial and recent benchmarks from multiple sources are showing it up top.

The best affordable card is the X700(which is still being shipped), for $150.

anywhere between there (6800GT, 400 bucks., 6200, 100-120) its nvidia.
