I have a Geforce 6800U and it's great
The ultra is just about tha fastest card there is. Some people will tell you to get an ATI card, but i prefer NVidia as there are better and more consistant drivers about
The Ultra has 16 pixel pipe lines
Whare as the GT only has 12 Pixel pipe lines.
As you go down the line the PPL get less and less :nxs:
Also the 6 series of Nvidia cards support SM3.0.
The ATI cards do not support this however.
When we will see the first real SM3.0 game with true Displacement mapping is anybodies guess. :bucky!:
Some people are saying that HL2 will support it, but i am not convinced. ;)

News Flash: ATi has the better drivers. as for consistancy.. u see performance jump 5-10% each month with drivers.. so its uh..
ATi has the 3dc tech though. and that is pimped out.

Like i said at the top, i prefer Nvidia. Other people prefer ATI.
You could argue for ever about Video cards. :nxs:
They both have their good and bad points.
I am not even going to get started with this.

Its 3dc vs Sm3.0
its Strong, Stable, and powerful drivers vs unstable, and feature filled ones...
Ive made my choice.
O yeh.. with CCC and AI ATi is finally putting strong features onto their stable and powerful drivers.
Im not going to argue this.. but the choice is pretty clear.
