WTB = want to buy (old mmpog term)

I've been holding off upgrading for a while and with the first prelim reviews of the SLi mobos out there I'm very interested. Buy a 6800GT now and in 6 months when the next rev comes out and the prices drop nab another 6800GT.

I was hoping ATI would respond to the NForce4 or at the very least make a formal announcement regarding their SLi type mechanism but it doesn't look like we'll be seing anything from ATI in this regards till very late next year.

I think if ATI waits too long they will have a tough time competing with Nvidia since a large number of the issues of developing said tech will be already ironed out (by nvidia) by the time ATI even announces a similar product.

I'm still surprised ATI hasn't announced an AMD mobo chipset, I was sure I read an announcement somewhere that they were thinking of it.
