i havent got much money do im gonna do a cheap upgrade.

heres what im going for

CPU - £82.19 - AMD Athlon 64 3000 Newcastle 130nm (Socket 754) - OEM (CP-072-AM) (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Socket_754.html)

Graphics Card - £152.69 - AOpen GeForce 6800 LE 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) & DOOM 3 Bundle - Retail (GX-006-AO) (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GeForce_6800.html)

all together £341.16p

my currunt setup is

Intel Inside Celeron 2.7Ghz

Columbia V mobo

ATi Radeon 9200 se

is it a good upgrade?

Yes, not bad at all. Not cutting edge, but it will run games like Farcry and STALKER ok.

Maybe look for a 256Mb 6800 mid-range board tho, it may be handy in the coming months! :thumbup:

Save a bit more and buy a x800xl. :thumbup:
